Yesterday, I failed on a training record deadlift. To clarify, it’s not my one rep max, but rather an attempt to up my training weight to a weight I’d never done for reps. Three Hundred and Ninety pounds. Whereas a few months ago I’d been able to at least get 405 off the ground, 390 didn’t even budge.
